Terminal issues ASR Commands every time it is launched.

This is probably a silly question and I apologize if it is.

We use Mac HelpMate mainly for the ASR GUI. We love it. However, every time that I now launch terminal on our 10.4.8 server it issues the ASR commands and I have to hit <control><z> to stop the process.

Is there any way to stop this from happening every time I launch a new terminal window?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have no idea how or why this is happening to you. Somehow, you must have edited one of your .bash files to load a command when the shell is opened. Check your .bash_profile file for some entries, or delte any files in the server administrator's home directory that begin with .bash. Also, you may want to try a different local user to see if this occurs.

Mac HelpMate doesn't create any persistent commands. All I can think is that this must have happened as an accident at some point.

Let me know if this helps. If not, post again and I'll see what else I can figure out.
